Lewis B. "Choo-Choo" Simpson Jr. age 41, a former resident of Muskogee, transitioned, Saturday, August 16,2014.

Lewis Bryant Simpson Jr. was born to Lewis & Essie Simpson on October 12, 1972 in Muskogee, OK. Lewis Jr. attended elementary school in Muskogee, OK; and in 1984 the family moved to Ft. Smith, Arkansas where he finished high school at Northside High. As time went by Lewis Jr. (Choo Choo) moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and there is where he made his home.

He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and cousin who enjoyed life. He gave his all in every duty he was given, there was never a dull moment when Choo Choo was around. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, cooking and painting cars, and turned Auto Body Repair and Painter into his career.

Lewis Simpson Jr. (Choo Choo) died Friday, August 15, 2014 in Little Rock, Arkansas and is preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly and a son, Jermaine.

He leaves to mourn, his father, Lewis Simpson Sr. (Martha) of McAllister, OK; and mother, Essie Goodman, Ft. Smith, AR; two sisters, Erica Simpson and Alexis Goodman, Ft. Smith, AR; three brothers, Anthony & Terence Simpson, Demetri Goodman, Ft. Smith, AR; five children, four boys, Maurice, Montel, Dontae Simpson, step-son, Trumaine, one daughter, Aaliyah Simpson, all of Ft. Smith, AR; two grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him.

A Home Going service will be conducted, Saturday, August 23, 2014, 11:00 a.m., 18th & Denison Church of Christ, Muskogee, OK; Bro. Eric Rodgers, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by Granger-House of Winn Funeral Home.
