Linda Mae Jackson, age 72, passed away on December 10, 2025, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warm smile and loving spirit touched everyone she met.
She was the first daughter born to Rosie Mae Jones and Timothy Ray Jones Sr. Linda graduated from Checotah High School in 1971 and went on to build a life defined by hard work, love, and devotion. In 1993, Linda married the love of her life, Terry Eugene Jackson, with whom she shared many cherished years. She worked for 25 years at the Downtown Marriott in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was known for her strong work ethic and genuine kindness. After the passing of her husband, Linda relocated to Muskogee, Oklahoma, where she continued to be surrounded by love from family and friends. Linda had a way of making people feel seen and welcomed. Her laughter, compassion, and strength will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Ray Jones Sr.; her mother, Rosie Mae Jones; her husband, Terry Eugene Jackson; and her grandson, Major Lee Jones.
She is survived by her children, Chasity Jones of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Montell Jones (Destiny) of Checotah, Oklahoma; and Antwine Jones (Lateefah), Kansas City, KS; her beloved grandchildren, Adrian Jones, Aeriana Carter, Jacie Parks, Jlynn Parks, Legend Jones, Antwine Jones Jr., Julian White, Antonio Jones, Amare'King Jones, Kaiden Barnett and Amayah Jones; her siblings, Timothy Jones (Shonda), Robert Jones (Alice), Regina Burnside (Andrew), Mitchell Branch (Michelle), Donald Holland (LaBrea), and Douglas Lollis (Faye); and many loving friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Linda's legacy of love, resilience, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew her
A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, January 3, 2026, 2:00 p.m., First Baptist Church Rentiesville, Rentiesville, OK; with interment to follow in Honey Springs Cemetery, Rentiesville, OK; with Rev. Sam Cunningham delivering the eulogy.
Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
