Linda Parker was born on April 3, 1948 in Okmulgee, OK; to Travis and Maxine Parker who preceded her in death.  Linda graduated from Dunbar High School in 1966 and Langston University in 1970 where she majored in Math and Chemistry.  She enjoyed a thirty-four year career as a Chemist for the Federal Food and Drug Administration in Washington, D.C.

Her two brothers, Kenneth and Travis, Jr. also preceded her in death.  She leaves to mourn her passing: her sister, Carol Smith and brother-in-law Floyd, her niece and nephew, Shawn Smith and Floyd Smith, Jr. whom she considered her children, plus many relatives and friends.

Cremation has been entrusted with House of Winn Funeral Home.

A Memorial is scheduled Saturday, September 8, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK.
