October 11, 1950 – June 29, 2020
Linda Lou (Poni) Wilson, 70, died June 29, 2020 at her home in Fort Gibson, OK after being on dialysis for 16 years, several strokes and congestive heart failure.
Poni was born in Moline, IL on October 11, 1950, daughter of Robert Lee Mann and Edith Lucille (Dopler) Mann.
Poni attended grade school in Coal Valley, IL; Jr. High School in Clarinda, IL; and was a graduate of Western Illinois University where she earned two degrees. Poni served her country for four years at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois as a driver and dispatcher. Poni was a member of the Muskogee Seventh Day Adventist Church where she managed a soup kitchen and provided a card ministry for several years.
Poni enjoyed bead work, gardening, cooking and crossword puzzles.
Poni was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Edith Mann.
Poni is survived by her husband Richard Ball; 2 sisters Patricia Drake and Mary Bracket; 2 daughters Debbie Cravens and Robin Kelly; 1 son Quanah Martin; 1 stepson Matthew Ball; 1 stepdaughter Jessica Decker; 1 grandson JD Johnson; 2 granddaughters Charlotte and Sydney Kelly; 1 great granddaughter; 2 step great grandsons Gareth and Jacob; 1 step great granddaughter Katelyn.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, August 16, 2020, Seventh Day Adventist Church, 170 N Country Club Rd, Muskogee, OK.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home, Muskogee.
