Lloyd Moss Jr., 68, retired bus driver, a resident of Muskogee, OK; transitioned, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Eastar health System surrounded by family.
On September 14, 1946, in Wybark, Oklahoma a beautiful baby boy was born to the proud parents of Lloyd Sr. and Lena Mae Moss. He was given the name Lloyd Moss Jr., affectionately known as "Big Lloyd". He was the oldest of seven children.

Lloyd professed a hope in Christ at an early age attending Union Grove Baptist Church. Lloyd grew up in this area, where he began his early education at Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School in Gibson, Station, OK. He then attended Carter G. Woodson in Tullahassee, OK; graduating in May of 1965, after which he joined the Job Corps in Oakland, California graduating with a specialty in auto mechanics. Lloyd was employed at Containers Corporation and a longtime employee of Muskogee Public Schools Transportation Department until his retirement in 2002.

In 1971, Lloyd married the love of his life, Alma Jean Baldridge and to this union two children were born, Leslie Nicole and Lloyd III. Lloyd was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved caring for his grandchildren whom he affectionately called his "cowboys". He also loved playing cards, dominoes and spending time with his family and friends.

After 68 years, Lloyd peacefully surrendered his soul, surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday evening, May 26, 2015 at Eastar Health System in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Jean Moss, father, Lloyd Moss Sr., Mother, Lena Fennell, one brother, Raymond Moss, two sisters, Brenda and Geraldine Moss, one grandson, Lloys Laron Moss and two sister-in-laws, Leola Hughes and Lee Ester Thompson.

The loved ones he leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memories include his two children, leslie Nicole Moss, Muskogee, OK; and Lloyd (Dawn) Moss III, Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Trayvon, jaylan, Darryan, and Kavion Moss, his siblings, Patricia Wytch, Muskogee, OK; Theodore Moss and Linda Moss, Omaha, NE; and Alan (Sharon) Fennell, Muskogee, OK; one sister-in-law, Wheatie Perkins, Oklahoma City, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

A Service of Memory will be held, Saturday, June 6,2015, at 11:00 a.m.,in Macedonia Baptist Church, Muskogee, OK; with Rev. Larry H. Smith, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Marshall Cemetery, Wybark, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
