On December 24, 1943, in Muskogee, OK Roosevelt and Mamie (Collins) Branch gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Lucille. She was the fifth of nine children.

Lucille's education journey began at Muskogee Public Schools graduating in 1961. She was employed at Tulsa Public Schools, Rockwell International and Tulsa Community College.

Lucille accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church- Muskogee Oklahoma and attended regularly until she moved to Tulsa where she attended Antioch Baptist Church- Tulsa Oklahoma. She loved God and knew he was her protector and provider.

On September 24, 2016, Lucille was finally able to rest and no longer suffer the woes of this earth. Her parents and her brothers Robert and Curtis Branch preceded Lucille in death.

She leaves her cherished memories to her two children Theodore Logan Jr. (Rosa) New Hope, OK and Shanita Porter (Curtis) Grandview, MO; grandchildren: Marquaisha and Monet Loggins Grandview, MO, Tray Logan New Hope, OK, Albert, Adrian, Evelyn (Nikki)Deville of Tulsa OK; her siblings: Rena Logan San Diego CA, Ora Hemphill, Erma Branch, Evelyne Wray, Roosevelt Branch Jr. (Patricia), Kathleen Jeffries (Fabian) Tulsa OK and a special Sister-In Law and friend Ollie Lawrence Los Angeles, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, October 1, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Precious Memories Chapel-Muskogee, 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, OK; with Rev. Michael Logan, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
