Obituary

"I've a Home prepared Just over in the Glory Land"  Mable A. Corbin, age 65, a resident of Muskogee, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, August 2,2021, in her home with family at bedside.

Mable (Mae) Alice Corbin was born May 18, 1956, in Detroit Michigan to Hedy & Blemish Coleman. She was the oldest of three children born to this union. Both parents preceded her in death.

As a young child, her parents moved the family to Wichita, Kansas. It was there, while attending St. Mary's Baptist Church, where her journey in faith began.

After high school, she worked to support herself doing various jobs, including truck driving. She was also a talented seamstress, event planner and interior decorator.

On June 21, 1985, she united in Holy Matrimony to Roger Corbin Sr. and to this union one son, Roger Jr., was born.

Mae worked for the Oklahoma School for the Blind for 20 years before retiring in 2015.

Mae Corbin was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving son, Roger Bernard Corbin Jr. (Crystal) of Edmond, Oklahoma, and their daughter Olivia, a sister, Beozie Coleman of Muskogee, OK, and a brother, Ronald Coleman (Wanda) of Atlanta, Georgia. Mae was also loved by her nephew, McIra Edward Corbin of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and his daughters Savannah and McKaylan.

Graveside rites, Monday, August 9,2021. at 10:00 a.m. in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. No Public visitation and no flowers have been requested.
