Marion Massey's Obituary
Marion Massey, 88, US Army veteran, a resident of Muskogee, OK; slipped the bonds of this earthly realm unto eternity, Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center, Muskogee, OK.
On January 1, 1929 Sam Massey and Lucy Gunter Massey celebrated the new year with the birth of a beautiful baby boy, in Muskogee, OK. They named him Marion Massey.
Marion received his education in Muskogee, OK. He enlisted in the United States Army, November 15, 1950. Marion was honorably discharged October 17, 1952.
He went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 5 , 2017.
Preceding him in death are his parents, and two brothers, Bennie Massey and Lewis Massey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Lucille Murrell, Muskogee, OK; along with a host of nephews cousins and friends that will miss him.
A Graveside Service is scheduled Monday, March 13, 2017, 12 noon, Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK. Military honors performed by Ft. Sill honors team.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Homes.
