In Loving Memory of Marsenia Ann (Logan-Cooper) Wise, age 68, retired educator of Tulsa,OK  she transitioned, Sunday, August 7,2022 in Hillcrest Medical Center-South.  Memorial rites will be conducted, Saturday, August 13,2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee.

Reflections of Marsenia's Life

Marsenia Ann Wise (Logan) was born in Muskogee, OK to Alvin West Logan Sr. and Ethel Mae Logan on October 1, 1953. She was the seventh child born to this blessed family of a total of eight children. Her father, Alvin Sr., mother Ethel, brothers, Bennie Logan, Larry Logan, Jackie Logan and sister Faye Jean Bruce precede her in death.

Marsenia attended Douglass Elementary School, Sadler Jr. High, Manual Training High School and Muskogee High School. Marsenia received piano training throughout her youth and enjoyed playing the piano at events and in her profession.

Marsenia earned a Master's degree in education from Northeastern State University. She went on to earn a second Master's degree in Human Resources from Strayer University in 2013.

Marsenia was a dedicated elementary school and music teacher for over 30 years in the Tulsa Public School system from which she retired.

Marsenia enjoyed hosting a talk radio show, "Setting the Record Straight", on WWWE 1100 in Atlanta, GA for two years. She was passionate about social issues and politics.

Marsenia enjoyed and took pride being "GAGA" to her grandchildren. She leaves to mourn: her devoted husband Ronald Wise Sr., daughter LeAnder Faye Cooper of Tulsa, OK, son, Ronnie Jr. of Arkansas and son Jarred Wise of Tulsa, OK, grand-daughter Nouri and grandson Jace Wise. Three Brothers, Alvin West Logan Jr.(Wyvette) of Iowa City, IA, Carl Milton Logan (Barbara) of Tulsa, OK, and Marcus Lyle Logan (Yvonne) of Muskogee, OK, and a great number of nieces, nephews, cousings, and other relatives and friend.
