Mary Stallings Tucker, age 57, a former Okmulgee resident,
transitioned, Saturday, October 4, 2015.
Mary Stallings Tucker was born on December 6th 1957 to Adam and Leontine Stallings in Morris, OK. She was the youngest of five children.
Mary didn't have any biological children of her own but was a mother to her many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
Mary loved people and was always lending a helping hand to the many she came it contact with. Her positive attitude in all situations good or bad, stemmed from he strong faith in God and her favorite saying, "Can't nobody do me like Jesus."
Mary practiced the scripture Mark 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength, this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mary went home to be with the Lord, October 4, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Adam Stallings, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory, her significant other, Charles Talton, Jr., one sister, Linda (Paul) Wilson, Dallas, TX; two brothers, Burch (Trinidad) Stallings, Leesville, LA; Luther Stallings, Sr., Okmulgee, OK; niece, Sarah Stallings, nephews, Luther Stallings, Jr., David Stallings and Eddie Lamont Stallings (all of which Mary raised), two, special friends, Elvina Managum and Evalois Pierce, host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
A Home Going Service will be conducted, Saturday, October 17, 2015, 2:00 p.m., Crosstown Pentecostal Holiness, 1206 W. Fifth Street, Okmulgee, OK; with Dr. Earnest C. Jordan, eulogist. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK.
Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
