Mayella Foster's Obituary
Mayella Foster was born September 23, 1925 in Dora, Oklahoma to the proud parents, Willie Carter and Maud Brewer Carter.
Mayella became Jehovah's Witness at an early age.
Mayella attended Langston Hughes School in Muskogee, OK.
She was a cook for many years. She loved spending time with family, cooking, eating and fishing.
Mayella transitioned May 3rd, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, R.T. Foster, daughter, Dorothy Mitchell, four sisters and two brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Mary Thomas, Ft. Smith, AR; brothers, Willie (Joann) Carter, Muskogee, OK; Roy (Junie Ruth) Carter, Oklahoma City, OK; her sister-in-law, Annie Carter, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her.
A Graveside Service is scheduled Friday, May 12, 2017, 1:00 p.m., in Booker T. Washington Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.
Visitation will be Thursday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home & Cremations
