Menter Thomas Warren, Sr. was born on November 5, 1948, in Vanndale, AR, to the late Shedrick Warren, Sr. and the late Georgia Anner Harris Warren. He was affectionately called "Menter T.".

He graduated from Wynne High School in 1968. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended First Baptist Church. He loved to travel in his youth. He worked as a high lineman and truck mechanic. Later, he moved to Coweta, Oklahoma, to be closer to his children and grandchildren.

Menter T. was formerly married to Erma Jean Steele. To this union, five children were born Stephanie (Steve), Arneda (Robert), Wanda (Edward), Thomas, and Freda (Emeka). He had 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren including Miracle, Stephanie, and DJ who adored him.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, Menter T. leaves behind his brother: Rev. Shedrick Warren II (Carolyn) of Little Rock, AR, and sisters: Rachel Johnson of Wynne, AR; Wanda F. Baskins of Mansfield, TX; and Patricia Marks of Little Rock, AR as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A Home Going Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Greater New Hope Church, 300 W. Commercial Haskell, OK, with Rev. Shedrick Warren, II delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Vernon Cemetery, Coweta, OK.

Public visitation will be on Friday, April 21st in the Precious Memories Chapel, House of Winn Funeral Home, 2200 Military Blvd, Muskogee, OK, during the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
