Mervel Elaine Brooks, 51, educator, a resident of Beggs, OK; slipped the bonds of this earthly realm onto eternity on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK.

A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday May 6, 2017, 2:00 p.m. First Baptist Church South, Highway 16, Beggs, OK; with Rev. Scott Gordon, eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Beggs Cemetery, Beggs, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
