Michael L. Brown, 61, maintenance, a resident of Muskogee, OK; passed away, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Eastar Health System.

Michael Lynn Brown, the son of Beverly and Andre Quals was born, August 19, 1953, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a step-son to Rev. Bobby L. Hudson.

He attended public schools in Omaha, Nebraska. During the Sumer months, he visited Muskogee, Oklahoma, where he went to Summer school at Dubois School in Summit, Oklahoma, with his cousins known as the Gardner Boys. During his school days, Michael showed a great interest in writing.

Michael confessed his love for Christ at an early age.

Later in life, Michael moved to Muskogee. Here, he acquired many friends and became reacquainted with his cousins. On numerous occasions, he visited Faith Love Baptist Church, of which one of his cousins is Pastor, and other cousins are members.

Michael is also remembered by one of his friends as one who loved to eat.

The last few years, Michael's health began to fail. He was called home to be with the Lord, May 13, 2015.

Left to mourn his passing, are his siblings; Derrick Quals, Gregory Quals, Chantay Quals, Teresa Johnson, all of Los Angeles, CA; Marcus (Doralyn) Hudson and their children, Shon Hudson and Iesha Hudson, all of Indiana, Michelle Hudson, a host of cousins and friends, a special friend, Debbie Banks Emberson and Loretta Crutcher.

A Service of Memory will be conducted, Friday, May 22, 2015, 11:00 a.m. in Faith Love Baptist Church, 1208 Tamaroa Street, Muskogee, OK; with Pastor Glenn O. Gardner, eulogizing.

The family has been cared for by Granger-House of Winn Funeral Home.
