Obituary

Michael Jordan Sims was born on April 29, 2000, to Niki Franklin and the late Michael Troy Sims.

Little Mike "PooPoo" known by his family and friends attended Okmulgee High school and upon his last year of high school his finished alternative school under the guidance of Coach Gary Calip. In his high school days "little Mike" was very charismatics, funny, a jokester, and always a joy to be around. His teachers and classmates often would say he was the life of the classroom.

Little Mike was a diehard fan of the Pittsburg steelers and had a strong love for music.

Little Mike professed his love and relationship with Christ at an early age and accepted Christ into his life where he was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church under the leadership of Revered Eddie Davis Sr., and his later years Reverend Marcus Jeffery Sr.

Little Mikes soul can now rest because he is no longer suffering, besides being on dialysis, he loved, loved, loved, being online playing videos games with his big contagious smile.

Michael Jordan Sims gained his heavenly wings on the morning of August 28, 2024, with his loving mother by his side. He is preceded in death by his father Michael Troy "Hype Mike" Sims, Paternal grandmother Elgin Sims Teague, his paternal great grandparents George and Sarah Sims, and maternal great grandparents Jessie and Thessie Jones.

Little Mike leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving and caring mother Niki Franklin; his brothers Brandon Jamaal Frankin (Shante) of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; and Rico Jamal Wilson of Wichita Falls, Texas. His grandmother Ethel Richardson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; His Uncle Quincy Douglas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; His Aunt Janene

( Johnny) Ford of Florida; and Elginia (Scotty) Goodson of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Also, his memory will live on through his nephew Harlem King Franklin; two special friends Mike Lewis and Taron Fultz. A host of other relatives and Friends.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Eastside Baptist Church, 219 N. Osage Ave., Okmulgee, OK; with Reverend Terrance Reed delivering the eulogy.

Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2024, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Precious Memories Chapel- Okmulgee.
