On January 24, 1964, a baby girl was born to Raymond and Evelyn Wheat, they named her Michelle Denise Wheat.

Michelle was born and raised in Haskell, OK, where she attended school as well.

Michelle loved putting together jigsaw puzzles with her best friend of over 30 years Karen White, they had an awesome bond together. Michelle loved to hang her completed puzzles on the walls around her house, playing cards with family and friends was also another thing she loved to do.

Michelle, was a very sweet, loving, and kind person to everyone she met. Michelle had a smile so beautiful that it would always light up the room.

Michelle will be truly missed by everyone that loved and knew her. In 1994 Michelle met the love of her life Terrell Chatman.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Wheat.

Michelle will be forever cherished by her soulmate of 30 years Terrell Chatman, her father Raymond Wheat, her 3 sons Jamaal Wheat, Brandon Wheat & Christopher Wheat, her sisters Felicia Wheat, Anna Wheat, and Glenda Wheat, her aunts Florastine Freeman and Dorothy (Paul) Knight, her uncle Sam Freeman, 2 special cousins Crissy Bruner and Kimberly Jordan, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

God called His angel home on June 15, 2024 surrounded by her family.

A Homegoing Service is scheduled, on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Precious Memories Chapel, House of Winn Funeral Home & Cremations, 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, OK; with Rev. Larry Cato, offering Words of Comfort. Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 23, 2024, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn-Muskogee.
