Obituary

Mikail Geron Parker was born March 15, 1989 in Okmulgee, OK; to Dietta Parker and Sterling Ross II. Mikail was welcomed by one brother, Michael Hill then his sister, Whitney Parker, joined the family.

Mikail grew up in Okmulgee, OK; and was educated at Westside Elementary. The family moved to Tulsa, OK; and he attended William Penn Elementary, Gilcrease Elementary and Nimitz Middle School. Mikail later returned to Okmulgee where he graduated with Okmulgee High School Class of 2007. He played Basketball for the Okmulgee Bulldogs and was a great player. Mikail was known for his jokes and being the class clown. He had a heart of gold. He was loved by many that came in contact with him and always had a smile that could light up the room.

Mikail was baptized in 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Okmulgee, OK.

Mikail had a best friend who he considered to be more like a brother, Ryan Factory. Mikail also had a special place in his heart for his grandmother, Willder Parker.

Mikail went home to be with his heavenly father, December 3, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Dietta Parker, children, DaLazia, Kaidence, Kennedy, Mariah, Kadrian and a special child he also raised as his own, Carter Orange (MIKAIL LOVED HIS CHILDREN), his siblings, Michael Hill, Whitney Parker and Sterling Ross III (S.J.), his biological father, Sterling Ross II and Edward Frazier (Ed) who he considered his father and loved, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him.


A Home Going Service will be conducted Saturday, December 17, 2016, 11:00 a.m., First United Methodist, 302 S. Seminole, Okmulgee, OK; with Rev. Harold White, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK. VIEWING AT THE FUNERAL ONLY. The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home.
