Monica Lynn Brown, 41, a resident of Tulsa, OK; passed away, Friday July 19, 2013 in Saint Francis hospital.

MONICA LYNN BROWN entered this world October 2, 1971 to Leroy and Deloris Brown.
Monica attended school in Hugo, Oklahoma, Washington, Missouri, Maumelle, Arkansas, and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
She later moved with her family to Des Moines, Iowa. There she was married to David Brown. God has blessed Monica with two wonderful children, Destiny Paige Brown and Steven Leroy Brown.
Monica joined Trinity Baptist Church in Maumelle, Arkansas at an early age. In her latter days she attended the Whole Life Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Monica will be remembered for her feisty personality, caring, giving spirit, love for her family, and her faith. Her love for her brother Steven Micah Brown was always unwavering.
On July 19, 2013 God in his unquestionable and ultimate wisdom saw fit to call Monica to her eternal home.
Monica leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Destiny and Steven, her parents, Leroy and Deloris, a special friend, Jamar Omar Murray, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, co-workers and friends.

A Home Going service will be conducted Saturday, 11 a.m. in St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home.
