Obituary

Odessa (Osborn) Hawkins was born October 3, 1944, in Redbird, OK to Henry Osborn and Pinkie Lee Walker. She passed away February 10, 2022 peacefully. On her journey she went to Manual Training School in Muskogee, OK were she later met and married her husband Warrior Hawkins in 1968. Just two years after her daughter Pamela entered the world. She then went on providing care for children as a Nutritionist Child Care Provider in Porter, OK. Her smile would light up a room, her kindness radiates showing she was a lover yet she fought through the triumph of the world and left her mark. Odessa is survived by her daughter Pamela Scott; her daughter Meosha (Anthony) and grandchildren Deshawn, Ashayla, Alexis, Destine, Jamauri, & Bralyn of Tulsa, OK; her sisters, Juanita Wesley & Yvonne Morris; brothers, Grady Osborn & Eugene Osborn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Meeting her in Heaven, her husband Warrior Hawkins (Hawk), father Henry Osborn, mother Pinkie Lee Walker, sister Anite Harris, and grandson Derrick Dewayne Allen Maxwell (Man-Man).

A service of memory will be conducted Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Church of Christ, 404 N. 18th St. Muskogee, OK. Interment will follow at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.

Public visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2022 in the Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee during the hours of 1:00PM - 5:00PM.

Masks are mandatory at all services.

The family has been cared for by the House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee.
