Paralee Peterson Jones Walker was born, April 3, 1927 to Mae Bell and Hamp Peterson in Thornton, TX.

She united with the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at an early age.  She graduated from Rosenwald High School in Thornton, TX and attended Samuel Houston, Austin Texas.

She married Theodore Jones and they had a son, Theodore Jones Jr., in Stockton, CA.  After the dissolution of this marriage, she later met and married John H. Walker and they were blessed with two sons, Johnny and Ronald Lee.

Paralee went home to be with the Lord, Sunday April 7, 2024

Preceding her in death are her parents, six sisters, and six brothers.

Those left to cherish Paralee's memory include her husband of the home John, her sons, Theodore Jones Jr., Johnny Walker and Ronald Walker, her grandchildren, Jamie Walker, Dallas, TX; LaShon Spencer and McKensie Lee, both of Frisco, TX; bonus daughter, Linda Spencer, Kansas City, MO; a great niece, Natalie Robinson, DeSoto, TX; along with a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her.

A Home Going Celebration is scheduled, Friday, April 12, 2024, 11:00 a.m., New Hope Baptist Church, 12358 S. 40th St. West, Oktaha, OK; with Pastor Michael Logan delivering the eulogy. Final view will be before the service at 10:00 a.m. until service time.  Interment will be Monday, April 15, 2024, 1:30 p.m. at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK.
