She always was willing to help anyone she could, and was the life of the party. She never met a stranger and would reach out to all. She had such a warm and gentle spirit. Peggie made it her mission to help anyone that needed assistance (especially the elderly). She would run errands, prepare meals, help with doctors appointments or take them out just for a ride. She loved birthdays and had a birthday list and sent cards to all of her family and friends.
Peggie remained a very faithful member of the New Zion Baptist Church, and was very active serving as the financial treasurer, Sunday school teacher, member of the choir, WMU, and serving as church. She truly loved her church and her church family.

She was so proud of her four daughters, and her grandchildren who were the loves of her life. She was very proud to be involved in all of the many activities and sporting events that they participated in, often traveling to different states to attend. She was affectionately called "Grannie, Grannie Gran and Mama". She will be greatly remembered for her kind heart and gentle touch. She loved people and loved to have a good time and enjoyed life. Her warm loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
She was truly deserving of the name MOTHER and was the true definition of its meaning. She had the best relationship in the world with her girls.
