Phillip J. Warrior, 35, transitioned Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Epic Medical Center in Eufaula, OK.
A precious baby was born, September 14, 1976, in Eufaula to Phillip and Terry Warrior and they named him Phillip Jerome Warrior.
P.J., as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was raised in Eufaula. An all-around individual he loved barbecuing, drinking, riding horses, fishing, football, basketball, baseball, being on the lake, swimming and most of all joking with everyone.
While in his youth, he accepted Christ in his life and attended Wayland Baptist.
P.J. attended Eufaula High School. He later received his G.E.D. in Fort Worth, TX.
On March 15, 1996 P.J. and Kristi were blessed with a precious baby girl, Kirstin Arrow.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ceazer and Letha Warrior, Pierce, OK; father Phillip Warrior, Eufaula, OK; his brother Jeremy Warrior of Wichita, KS; his uncles Clarence Pierce, Jr., Eufaula, OK; Chauncey Warrior, Joe Henry Warrior, Ralph Warrior, Otis Warrior all of Checotah, OK; an aunt Ada Bowens of Checotah, OK; and cousins T.C. Martin of Eufaula, OK, Angela Pierce of Kansas City, KS and Terrell Warrior of Tulsa, OK.
He leaves to witness his home going, his mother Terry Warrior, Eufaula, OK; two brothers Sean Warrior, Eufaula, OK and Terrell Warrior, Oklahoma City; three sisters, Tranina Warrior, Oklahoma City, Demetria and Theo Warrior, both of Denver, CO; maternal grandparents Clarence and Lou Jean Pierce, Eufaula, OK; a special nephew Sean Warrior of the home; aunts Phyllis Pierce of Kansas City, KS, Jackie Pierce (Clint) and Joy Pierce (Daniel) both of Eufaula, OK; uncles Jerry Pierce(Bevela), David Pierce and Tony Pierce all of Eufaula, OK; paternal uncles Ellis Warrior(Dana), Ceazer Warrior(Eunice), Anthony Warrior(Kim) all of Checotah, OK; paternal aunts Helen Grizzard, Pierce, OK, Mary Polk, Tulsa, OK, Regina Chandler, Checotah, OK a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends (a special friend, Christopher Youngblood).
A service of memory will be conducted Saturday, April 14, 2012, 11:00 a.m., in the Eufaula High School Auditorium, with Rev. Johnny Lewis eulogizing. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
A wake will be conducted, Friday April 13, 2012, 4-6 p.m. at Waylan Baptist Church, Eufaula, OK.
