Obituary

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; a time to be born and a time to die. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

On July 16, 1921 a baby boy was born to the late Talmage and Eara White in Muskogee County (Banks Community). He was the second child of three children. They Named him, Quincy.

Quincy confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined The Church of the Living God(C.W.F.F.) in Haskell (Banks Community). He later moved his membership to Muskogee, OK. He loved the Lord. He always invited anyone he came in contact or met to come with him to church and hear about the Lord. He was the eldest Deacon at the church.

Quincy was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Bessie Opal Debose. To this union they were blessed with nine children, four boys and five girls. He was a wonderful family man. He had a caring and loving personality which enlarged his circle of friends. To know him was to love him. After the passing of his first wife, Bessie, he later met and married, Odessa Jacobs, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, sisters and two sons.

Quincy will be remembered as a person with a kind heart and a big smile, always willing to lend a helping hand.

God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed his loving eyes and whispered, "Peace Be Thine." His weary hours, his days of pain, his weary nights, have passed. His weary patient worn out frame has found sweet rest at last. He left his beautiful memory, a sorrow too great to be told, but to us who loved and knew him, his memory will never grow old.

On December 26, 2016 surrounded by family, at his home, the Lord called Bro. White to rest.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory, Alvin, of the home, Brandy, a granddaughter, of the home, Calvin (Carolyn), Broken Arrow, OK; Quindella (Charles), Christine (John), all of Muskogee, OK; Anita, Haskell, OK; Debra, Dallas, TX; Beverly, Muskogee, OK; Byran (Cheryl), Atlanta, GA; Sylvester (Janet), St. Louis, MO; Darrell, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth White, Haskell, OK; grandchildren, Christie, Aric, Marlow, Rhonda, Tamika, Carnita, Alicia, Brandy, Mario and Marlon, great-grandchildren, Alexia, Trentity, Nevaeh, Brin, Carter, Khloe, Chandlyr, Jarred, Terrin, Talon, Kyler, Dallas and a God-child, Charles Pearson.
