Rebecca "Becky" Hill , 82 years old of Okmulgee, OK was born February 8, 1938 to James and Helen Richardson. She received her wings December 24, 2020 in her home surrounded by family and love ones.
While growing up in Okmulgee and attending Rosenwald School, Rebecca later became a lead cook and manager of many well known restaurants here in Okmulgee.
Rebecca loved to cook, feed, clothed and shelter many. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. After retiring she still remained active, working part time in various places.
Rebecca received Christ at a young age and was a member of True Vine Baptist Church where she taught children and adult Sunday School until her health began to fail.
She was united in marriage to Donzel Eli (Doc) Hill Jr., February 5, 1970. Along with this courtship since 1954, 7 children were born.
She is preceded in death by her parents James and Helen Richardson, one brother Lenard Richardson, one grandson Gary Wayne Hill III.
Survivors include 5 sons, Steve (Lisa), Donzell (Shelia), Gary (Viola), Gordon all of Okmulgee, OK and Dwayne (Tonia) of Mounds, OK, 2 daughters Sharon Hawkins and Lorraine Hill both of Okmulgee, OK, 2 brothers, James Richardson Jr. of Oklahoma City and Lonell Richardson of Los Angeles, CA, 29 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
A Home Going Celebration will be conducted, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in Eastside Baptist Church, 219 N. Osage St., Okmulgee, OK with, Rev. Charles Jones, eulogizing. Interment will follow in Nuyaka Cemetery, Nuyaka, OK. Visitation, Friday, January 1, 2021 in Precious Memories Chapel of House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee during the hours of 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
