On the 8th Day of May 1965 a baby girl was born to Marie Payne and Randolph Calvin Sanders they named her Rhonda Kaye better known as Kay Kay to many that knew her.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Canaan Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Vony Royal. She attended Muskogee Public Schools, Franklin Elementary, West Jr. High and graduating with the class of 1984.  Rhonda would further her education at Connor State College where she received her Associate degree.

Rhonda decided to move to Bel Air, Maryland and married Lionel Chapman. Shortly after they returned back to Muskogee, Oklahoma and made it their home, where she gave birth to their son Lionel Chapman Jr (Lj).Rhonda wanted to be the best mother she could be. She worked for Curts Oil for many years and decided to change careers and go into the medical field and this is when she found her passion, working for several families as a Private Sitter and she knew her business. Rhonda became very close to the families and they loved her compassion she had towards their loved ones. She tried several other job opportunities but her health began to change so she became a full time mom, supporting her son and being his biggest cheerleader in life.

Rhonda became a grandparent and loved spending time with her grandchildren . Throughout her later days of life she devoted her time to her family and dog.

She loved her family and was the coolest auntie. She was the favorite aunt of all and will be truly missed by all.

On January 20, 2025 God knew she was tired and called her name and she answered.

Those who have gone on before her, mother ( Marie Payne) grandparents Luvenia, Claude Sanders, Mott, Lizzy Payne, uncles, Amos Sanders, Clau E Sanders, auntie, Mae Cole, Will AB Badgett, Ida M Sanders, sisters, Marsha Williams and Lisa Brown.

Those left behind, her father, Randolph Calvin Sanders, son, Lionel Chapman Jr, grandchildren, Jazlyn Marie, Jakiyah Iman, Javion Raynard, Zaire Legend, sisters, Bobare Lee, Donna Jackson, Terri ( Clifton) Stewart brother Lindsey Turner, uncle, Louis, aunt, Loretta Sanders and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will truly miss her.

A Home Going Service is scheduled, Thursday, January 30, 2025, 2:00 p.m. House of Winn Funeral Home & Cremations, 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, OK; with Rev. Steve Rucker eulogizing.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
