Robert Grayson was born April 17, 1936 in Boynton, OK; to the proud parents, George and Minnie Grayson. He was the youngest of nine children (Louise, Marie, Betty Jean, Vivian, Willa Mae, Genevieve, Cleo & Berline).

In Boynton, Robert received his primary education and graduated from Wheatley High School with the class of 1954.

After high school, in July 1955 he enlisted in the United States Army. Robert served his country honorably and retired from the armed forces as a Sergeant First Class in July 1975.

In the year of 1962 he met and married Juanita Grayson and to this union, a child was born, Robert Brian Grayson. This marriage was later dissolved. He later married, Margaret Ann Gearing. This marriage later dissolved.

After the military, Robert graduated from Oklahoma State University, Okmulgee, OK; where he studied Carpentry. Later he became a private contractor.

Robert enjoyed building model cars, gardening, coaching little league baseball, aquarium designs and reading. He enjoyed watching sports. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers. He was a mentor, tutor, and counselor.

Robert went home to be with the Lord, February 5, 2016.

Preceding him in death are his parents and siblings.

Grayson, granddaughter, Alexis Grayson, brother-in-law, Roy Watson I, daughter-in-law, Rhoda Grayson, cousins, Dorothy Mae Jefferson, Margret Ann Jefferson, Shirley Ann Simpson, LaDonna Sanders and Gary Jr., nieces, Ella Loise Jackson, Patricia Hunt, Jacqueline Lawson, Lisa Mason, Eloise Greer, Cecila Grayson-Linex, nephews, Roy Watson II, Ralph Watson, Wendell Hutchinson, George Wooten, Kelvin Beatty, Kenneth Beatty and Leonard Beatty, great nieces, Cherly Wortham, Nikki Driver, Katrina Johnson, Cloe Watson Nettey and Tanya Rowe, great nephews, Roy Watson III, Norman Carpenter, Lawrence Greer III, Jermaine Hutchinson, Wendell Hutchinson Jr., Donald Howard, Brett Mitchell, Derick Howard and Ereick Howard along with a host of other relatives and friends

A Home Going Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2016, 3:00 p.m., Boynton Community Center, Boynton, OK; with Elder Oscar Higgs III, eulogist. A Private Interment will be Monday, February 15, 2016, 10:00 a.m., Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK; with military honors performed by Ft. Sill Honors Team.

NOTE: The final view will be before the service.

Visitation will be Friday, 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
