Robert Lee Irving was born August 23, 1939 in Oktaha, OK; to the proud parents, Willie and Estelle (Thomas) Irving.

Robert Lee attended and graduated in 1959 from Rentiesville High School where he excelled in basketball. After graduation he moved to Wichita, KS; where he worked as a Security Officer. He also resided in Ohio, California and back to Oklahoma where it all started.

On June 28, 2016, the Lord saw that Robert Lee had fought a good fight and He extended his hand to welcome him into Heaven's eternal home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Eula McDonald and Eveleen Graves and one brother, Terry Thomas.

Those left to celebrate his life; three brothers, Willie T. Irving, Blythe, CA; JoNathan Edward, Troy, OH; and Lawrence Edward, Oktaha, OK; two sisters, Earnestine (Irving) Wheeler, Milan, MI; and Thelma (Irving) Thomas, Highland, CA; brother-in-law, Otis Graves, Rentiesville, OK; a brother, Milton Colbert, Wichita, KS; nieces, Yolanda "Lynn" Wright, Danielle Graves and Veronica Stevens, nephews, Andre McDonald, Tracy Edward, Terrance Edward and Travis Edward, great nieces and nephews, NaShadame(KyMari) Wright, Cedric (Raylyn) Wright and Kenedy Graves, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Home Going Service is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., First Baptist Church, Summitt, OK. Interment will follow in Oktaha Cemetery, Oktaha, OK.

Visitation before services 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
