Ronald Dean Morris was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he was the son of Lucille (Hunter) Morris and late Deacon Willie Morris.

During Ronald's childhood he attended church and Sunday School at the old Mt. Zion Church. Later the family joined Old Agency Baptist Church, there Ronald was baptized. He served as assistant superintendent of Sunday School and was a member of the Junior choir.

Ron received his Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from University of Tulsa and his Master's degree in Business Administration from Tulane University.

Ron was a wonderful person with a high sense of integrity and honesty especially in a multi-cultural work environment. He loved to travel and explore different cultures. His main focus was caring for his family and opening doors of opportunity for his two boys. He won many awards in golf tournaments while living overseas and was a member of the bowling and tennis teams. He loved competition, playing Scrabble and backgammon. He had a brilliant mind and could answer most of the questions on Jeopardy. His sense of humor, generosity and loving smile will be greatly missed.
