On June 17, 1936, in Checotah, OK a blessing was bestowed upon James and Evelyn Lamar whom they named Rosie Lee Lamar.  She was the fourth of five children, two of which have preceded her in death (Melissa Lamar, Neuman Lamar Sr.) as well as a loving nieces Gail Marie Lamar, Shawn Dezell Lamar, and a loving Aunt Eldora Brown.

Rosa was employed as a Nurse Assistant and a Dietary Aide and was loved by all that knew her.  She later met and married Steve Williams until his death.

Rosa was a very good person, sometimes too good, with a big heart and a faithful member of St. Mark Baptist Church until God called her home early Monday morning, April 9, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving brother, James Lamar, Jr. (KS), a sister, Margaret Lamar (KS), a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Many thanks to Jennifer (The Woods) for your love and support of Rosa. May our "Aunt Pigeon" rest in eternal peace.

A Home Going Service is scheduled Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 11:00 a.m., St. Mark Baptist Church, 1020 S 2 ^nd St, Muskogee, OK; with Rev. Rodger L.B. Cutler eulogizing.   Interment will follow in Warrior Cemetery, Checotah, OK.

Visitation will be Monday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
