Rosie M. Morgan, 70, homemaker, a resident of Tulsa, OK; passed away, Saturday, July 13, 2013, in her home surrounded by family.

Rosie Morgan was born September 19th 1942 to Homer and Magnolia (Brooks) Morgan.

She attended School in Haskell, Oklahoma where she graduated with high honors. After to moving to Los Angeles, California, she attended college there for two years. Upon returning to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Troupe's Beauty College and worked as a Cosmetologist for several years in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Early in life and having a heart for God, She was baptized in Bald Hill, Oklahoma; Morris Chapel Baptist Church, now Harris Chapel Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late W. J. Johnson. Rosie would always help anyone she could, and was blessed with two sons, Corey and Ivan whom she loved and cherished.

After finishing this journey on July 13th, 2013, Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Morgan Sr. and Magnolia Morgan Holmes.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sons Ivan Morgan (Yolanda) Corey (Tracy) 1 sister Ola Mae Grovan of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren Estevon, Ivan Jr. Ivan 3rd. Isaiah, Curtis, and Nicholas, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A Home Going Celebration will be conducted Saturday, 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Haskell, OK. Visitation Friday 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home.
