On October 4, 1948, Terry Lee Wilson Sr. was born to George A. Wilson (Pete) and Katherine Thomas, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was one of six children.

Terry attended Dunbar Schools. Some time later, he answered the call to ministry. Shortly after, a union was formed with Beverly, that produced four children. He had a total of 6 children, four boys and two girls.

After that union ended, he moved to Oakland, California, there he worked for Berkley schools for quite a few years. While there, he met and married Demetra. After leaving California, he moved back to Okmulgee to live out his retirement. On October 23, 2023 Terry went into eternal rest.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents George A. Wilson (Pete) and Katherine Thomas . Two Brothers, James Franklin and Ronald L. Thomas . Two sons, Antonio Wilson Sr. And Mukuta-ja Wilson. And one grandson, Antonio Wilson Jr.

He leaves behind two sisters, Remona (James ) Brannon , Tulsa Oklahoma and Arnita Calloway, Oakland, California; one brother, Keith Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his children, two sons, Terry Wilson (Kay) of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Jeremey Wilson (Sarah) of Edmond , Oklahoma; two daughters, Katherine Thomas (Brendan) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and his favorite nephew Kent Davis.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home-Okmulgee
