On the thirteenth day of September in 1957 a baby boy named Theodore "Teddy" Lee Roosevelt Hopkins was born to the union of Theodore R. and Thelma (Dixon) Hopkins in Muskogee, OK.
Teddy attended Muskogee Public Schools. Teddy served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. After the military, he continued his education as a Welder. Teddy worked as welder at steel plant for many years.
Teddy never met a stranger. He was the life of the party. Teddy enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Eva Mae Clayton and his twin, Thelma Lee Hopkins and his niece, Sandra Clayton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, LaTron (Neoshia) Jolly, Grand Prairie, TX; daughter, Tierra Walker, Tulsa, OK; his baby sister, Audrey (Edward) Tennon, Tulsa, OK; 3 grandchildren, LaTron (Crystal), Tyson, and Adam Jolly, all of Grand Prairie, TX; along with a hoist of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him.
A Memorial Service is scheduled Saturday, July 15, 2017, 1:00 p.m., Rayfield Baptist Church, 601 Indianapolis Street, Muskogee, OK; Rev. Leroy Walker, Sr. eulogist.
