Obituary

Theoples Crisp, affectionately called "TC" was born December 7, 1943 to Ollie Crisp Sr. and Vivian Crisp (Shang), in Grayson, OK. Theoples was the oldest of 8 children. Theoples was also known to most people as "Toobie" a nickname given to him at a very, very young age.

Theoples received his formal education in the Grayson school system, Grayson, OK and graduated with the class of 1963. He worked with several construction companies in Tulsa, OK and retired as a heavy machinery operator.

Early in life TC met his friend Queen Lewis and to this relationship a son was born and they named him Theoples Wayne Crisp. This relationship was later dissolved. Wayne gave TC four beautiful granddaughters and he also raised a step-son Justin Taylor. Justin has six children.

TC had many hobbies and to name a few was his love of tinkering with old automobiles and small engines, doing yard work, working with his hands and he loved to cook. He always had a pot of beans cooked, which was his favorite food. He loved Country and Western music and could Boot Scoot like no other, one of his dreams was to be a cowboy. TC was a bit of a dare devil whereas fast driving excited him, you could find him racing around Grayson and other places too (he even wrecked a few of his mother's vehicles racing). He was a very helpful person, not a man of many words until you got him stirred up. TC was a member of the Grayson Volunteer Fire Dept, you could find him at the Fire House tinkering with the equipment, if something didn't work he would do his best to get it functioning. He also would run the town tractor when there was a need to help out. He will be truly missed by the Grayson community.

Two years ago, TC met the love of his life "Vickie Jackson" who stood by him until the very end, they were inseparable. We all have so much to thank this young lady for. Vickie will remain to be an honored part of our family.

Theoples at the age of 75 went home to dance with Angels and unite with his family on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Preceding him in death are his parents, Ollie and Vivian Crisp Sr.; son Theoples Wayne Crisp; brothers, Alden Crisp, Cedell Crisp, Ollie Crisp Jr., and Richard Crisp.
