Obituary

Tonya Escoe was born September 23, 1978 to John Charles and Juanita Escoe in Tulsa, OK.

Tonya began her education with Tulsa Public Schools and Oktaha School System, graduating from Webster High School, Tulsa, OK. She started her Christian walk at Cornerstone Baptist South Haven Community, Tulsa, OK.

Tonya was joined in holy matrimony to Donald Caldwell. She was a loving mother to two sons, Jordan Escoe and Davion Escoe and a daughter, Tori Escoe.

Tonya had a heart for people. She never met a stranger.  If you were fortunate enough to become her friend, you had a friend until the end.  She was kind, a giving person, compassionate and always willing to lend a helping hand.

On December 10, 2016 after a short illness, Tonya was called home by our Lord and Savior to her place in His heavenly mansion.

Tonya was preceded in death by her grandparents, General and Elvira Escoe and Alton and Opal Guess and a brother, Rodney Escoe.

Tonya leaves behind her husband, Donald Caldwell, two sons, Jordan and Davion, one daughter, Tori Escoe, her parents, John and Juanita Escoe, sister, Malynda Gilkey, four brothers, John Escoe, Jr., Bryant Escoe, Zack Escoe and Roderick Shaw, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her.

A Home Going Service is scheduled for Saturday, December 17, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Precious Memoires Chapel, 2200 Military Blvd., Muskogee, OK; with Rev. Michael Logan eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
