On September 8, 1957, Vicki Lynn (Dan) Escoe was born to the union of Willie and Minnie Dan in Checotah, OK. She was the eighth of ten children born.

Vicki accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Checotah, OK; where she began her work for the Lord.

She grew up in Checotah, OK; and received her formal education and graduated from Checotah High School with the Class of 1975.

On July 30, 1980 she united in Holy Matrimony with General Escoe. To this union two girls were born.

The Lord called Vicki home and she answered on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Nita Dan, Ella Gilyard, and Marcella Burris and one brother, Ray-Keith Dan.

Those left to wait on the Lord, her husband, General Escoe, of the home, two daughters, Candice Escoe and Brittany Escoe, both of Muskogee, OK; one grandson, Adarien Porter, Muskogee, OK; four brothers, Homer (Esther) Dan, Checotah, OK; Michael (Vickie) Dan, Tulsa, OK; Willie (LaNorma) Dan, Checotah, OK; and Reginald Dan, McAlester, OK; one sister, Tema (Duane) Warrior, Checotah, OK; six sisters-in-law, Nancy Escoe, Kansas City, MO; Cozette Jackson, Tulsa, OK; Anne Sharon-McPherson, Spencer, OK; Sondra Escoe, Tulsa, OK; Dianne Escoe, Oklahoma City, OK; and Elaine Escoe, Checotah, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.

A Home Going Service is scheduled, Saturday, November 3, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 212 E. Park Ave., Checotah, OK; with interment to follow in Paradise Cemetery, Checotah, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
