Victor Dwayne Talton was born June 12, 1967, in Tokyo, Japan. He was one of six children born to Tommy and Vonda Talton.

Victor attended church regularly since childhood beginning with Second Baptist Church in Okmulgee, Ok. Later attending Westside Church of God in Christ in Enid, Ok. As well as Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Okmulgee, Ok.

Victor was a skilled laborer for most of his life. Victor graduated from Job Corps and attained his CDL from Truck Driving Academy as well as his HVAC Certification.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kita Wilson and Amy Barnett. His grandchildren, Janiyah Wilson, Josiah Colbert, Devin Bird and Taylor Barnett. Mother, Vonda Talton and siblings Debra Norwood (Dervin) of Enid, Ok., Lawrence McGee of Enid, Ok, Rosa LaVan Carr of Enid, Ok., Tommy Talton Jr. and Michael Talton of Okmulgee, Ok. Along with many other Aunts, Uncles, family, relatives and friends.

A Home Going service is scheduled Saturday, March 15, 2025, 1:00 p.m., Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1500 N. Miami Street, Okmulgee, OK; with Dr. Douglas Currington, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Sharps Memorial Garden Cemetery, Okmulgee, OK.

Visitation will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn-Okmulgee.
