Mrs. Wanda Barnett was born on March 9, 1947 in Boynton Oklahoma to Mary Jane Love and Siggie Mack Love, she was the oldest child of 12, her parents five brothers Billymack, Joylee, Clerance, Kenneth, and Calvin preceded her in death. Wanda excepted Christ into her life at a very young age at Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was a great God Fearing Lady who always included Jesus First and foremost in everything she done.

Wanda was joined in matrimony to Charlie Delore Barnett in 1964 until his death in 2006, this union was blessed with seven beautiful children Charlene, Darrell, Pamela, Darren, Loletha, Timmy, and Charlie J.R. and a beautiful sister whom they raised as their own Shirley. She was preceded in death by her daughter Charlene Barnett on August 29, 2007.

Wanda was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, and a friend who gave unselfishly of herself. Wanda gave her life making sure that her family, and everyone who needed her for anything even if it was just a phone call to make your day you can always count on Wanda. She was always there and willing to make whatever the situation better in every way and including her spiritual something.

She was so thoughtful and generous even to strangers, her eyes would sparkle when she had a story to tell you, her words were always encouraging. A happy family meant everything to Wanda. She was admired by most people, she was blessed to meet. Strangers became longtime friends. Wanda will be truly missed.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Siggie Love, Husband: Charlie D. Barnett, Daughter: Charlene Barnett five brothers Billymack Love, Joylee Crane, Clarence Crane, Kenneth Crane and Calvin Crane.

She leaves to celebrate her life and continue her legacy her daughters: Pamela (Darrell)Robinson of Woodstock Georgia, Loletha (Aaron )Dookhie of Tulsa Oklahoma, A special Daughter Shirley (Jim) Stephens of Muskogee Oklahoma. Sons: Darrell Barnett of Morris, Oklahoma, Darren Barnett of Tulsa Oklahoma, Timmy Barnett of Tulsa Oklahoma, and Charlie Barnett junior of Tulsa Oklahoma. Sisters: Juanita Bell of Smyrna Georgia, Deborah (Tyrone)Fulton of Boynton Oklahoma, Cynthia Laday of Tulsa Oklahoma, Marie Love of Douglasville Georgia, Leola (Darrell)    Close of Houston Texas. 26 Grand Children, and 5 Great grand Children.

A Home Going service will be conducted on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m in Oasis Community Church, 800 W. Peak Blvd, Muskogee, OK with Evangelist Marie Wilson, eulogizing.   Interment will be Tuesday, September 7th at 10:00 a.m. in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK. Visitation, Friday September 3, 2021, Precious Memories Chapel, House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee, 2200 Military Blvd,  from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn Funeral Home-Muskogee.
