Willie Idella Tolliver, 89, homemaker, a resident of McAlester, OK; formerly of Porter, OK; transitioned Monday, May 9, 2016 in McAlester Nursing Home, McAlester, OK.

Willie Idella Tolliver was born to Monroe and Arvella E. Tolliver on November 1, 1927 at Rock Hill: Porter, OK. She was the only child born of this union.

At an early age she united with Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, upon her mother's move to Redbird, Oklahoma. She later joined with Wharton AME Church in Redbird, OK. Willie attended school in Tullahassee and Redbird. In 1945 she moved to Caruthers, CA. There she met and married, Lorenzo Washington. To this union three children were born: Donnie L., Loretta, and Lorenzo, Jr. When this marriage ended she and her children returned to Oklahoma.

Preceding her in death are her parents, one son, Lorenzo Jr., eight siblings, Alex Walker, Ellis Walker, Dave Walker, Nelson Walker, Lue Birder Walker-Ross, Susie Walker, Pinkie Walker, and Rosa L. Walker.

Those left to cherish her memory, are her son, Donnie L. and her daughter, Loretta, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Service of Memory is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2016, 2:00 p.m., Precious Memories Chapel, House of Winn Funeral Home, Muskogee, OK.
