Obituary

Xenophone Boyd Clark, was born March 8, 1930 in Porter, OK.  He was the fourth of eight children born to Tillman and Cora (Hytche) Clark.

He attended Wagoner County Public Schools.  In 1949 he moved to Battle Creek, Michigan and worked for the Veterans Administration.  In 1954 he married, Mildred Jackson. He eventually moved back to Oklahoma in 1968.  He retired from the V.A. in Muskogee, OK

Xenophone transitioned Thursday, December 22, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his son, Ricky Weaver.

He is survived by a step-granddaughter, Kim Jones, Newark, New Jersey; brothers, Bonny Clark, Battle Creek, MI; Jimison (Barbara) Clark, Tulsa, OK; and Dennis Clark, Porter, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


A Home Going service is scheduled Friday, December 30, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Porter, OK; with Rev. Anthony Gaines, eulogizing.  Interment will follow in Booker T. Washington Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.

Visitation will be Thursday, 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
